What Isn't Seen Is Never Managed

Peter Drucker, the father of management, has a quote cited to death but still true:

> **What gets measured gets managed.**

The cutting edge of this quote is its inverse: **what isn't measured never gets managed.**

Rent has an account, so you compare prices and negotiate renewals. Materials have an account, so you shop suppliers. But missed inquiries have no account — you may not even know they occurred. No-shows have no monthly report — you remember the day's anger, not the month's total. Repeat churn is quietest — no lost client ever tells you why they stopped coming.

**The shared structure of all three leaks: invisible → unmanaged → still leaking.**

To break this cycle, the first step isn't buying a system. It's doing the math.
